Volunteers with the non-profit Lowernine.org will get some training this weekend on the installation of siding at a home on Caffin Avenue in the Lower 9th Ward. The rebuilding event at Mary Ann Nadine’s house Saturday (June 4) and Sunday will be led by 13 skilled workers from the James Hardie Company, which has partnered with Lowernine.org since 2014 to provide products to rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Katrina, the non-profit group said in a news release.
